“Mahogany strives to deliver amazing music to your eyes and ears, as often as possible.” This is The Mahogany Sessions’ mission statement, and we can’t help but feel that this hits the nail on the head. This small team from London aims to bring you beautifully shot videos featuring great artists, both new and old. The videos present stripped-back acoustic performances, often filmed in interesting locations such as by the seaside, in a forest or even beside a swimming pool! These are usually shot close to the artist, giving the listener a unique, intimate experience. This is also a great way to discover new music as it showcases the songs in their most original form, and their frequent uploads ensure that there is always something new to hear. The channel includes performances from Passenger, Bastille, Little Green Cars and Half Moon Run. Our particular favourites are Sweet Disarray by Dan Croll and Rubbles by Moddi.
